What led you to your current position at Sodexo?
I’ve been with this location for 5 years, but I have been with Sodexo for 24 years! I was hired as a floating manager, worked with a trainer and in marketing, and was a Food Service Director before my current position.

What is your typical day like?
I start every day with morning deliveries to clinics and with a check of labor management from the prior day. Because I am so busy, it can be challenging to find time to finish something. On the flip side, I find it exhilarating to spend time with customers. My job is interesting, stimulating, varied and very, very busy.

What is the best part of working for Sodexo?
Sodexo people are the best. I enjoy working for a company that is loyal to its employees and with employees who are loyal to the company.

What motivates you?
I’ll be perfectly honest – sometimes I feel overworked and pulled in a thousand different directions. This stimulates me sometimes and frustrates me at other times. That’s why it’s called work, right? But I like working for Sodexo – I wouldn’t stay and work so hard if I didn’t. Life itself motivates me – it’s why I get out of bed every day and why I come to work with a smile on my face determined to do the best job that I can.
